SunApp tries to minimize number of clicks needed to start your training and hides as much as possible to reduce complexity and learning curve.

But once you are more comfortable with using basic setup there is no reason not to learn more about features which can empower the whole experience of you as therapist or your patients.

Side Settings Panel

You can find on the left side of SunApp application a hidden settings panel containing important parameters. To open the panel, move your mouse over the area close to left border of SunApp window.


CONNECTION

There is option under every connected device to check "autoconnect in the future". It can establish connection with your SunBall automatically during every other startup of the application.

WEBCAM

Webcam serves its purpose as controlling tool. If turned on your webcam will save snapshop few seconds after every change of exercise so you can review patient's trainings retrospectively in analytics.

Due to the sensitivity and privacy of patients, this functionality is required to turn on after every start of application.

PORTRAIT VIEW

CONTROL BARS

Control bars is feature request from therapist who like to use unpaired balls as control tool. They put unpaired ball under desired body part and instruct their patients to not move this part - any slight change will show in control bars.

The therapist puts an unpaired ball to the desired location, instruct the patient to not move eg. Arm during exercise. Control Bars will show up on the right side of the game so therapist can visually inspect even slight change of position and movement of the monitored part.

CALIBRATION

Sometimes you need to execute exercise where initial position is under load or balls are overpressured and you need to zero out pressure reading. In other words - to say to the program, this is my initial pressure, make it zero so I can control games.

Calibration can be done in 3 different ways.

  • keyboard shortcut "C" inside every game
  • "calibrate" button side panel inside every game
  • "calibrate" button on pressure bar (where you click "push to pair"). See below...

Exercise editor

Exercise editor allows you to add your custom exercises, voice instructions, define body part and write a description.



To add new exercise, click on button "Exercise editor" (top right corner above exercise list) a fill all required fields - image file, description, body part. Voice instructions is an audio file started at the very begining of every exercise and its optional.

Confirm the new exercise by clicking "checked" icon at the right corner of exercise editor.


In order to edit existing exercise, double-click on its image in the exercise list, exercise editor should appear with exercise data filled in. Change any data or file source you want and confirm changes by clicking "checked" icon at the right corner of exercise editor.


To delete existing exercise, double-click on its image in the exercise list, exercise editor should appear. Then you can click on "trash" icon at the left corner and confirm deletion.
